Race is so far out of the question when dealing with the “decision.” I’d imagine what LBJ did on a business stand point was the correct choice for him and his family, but on a personal level it was the biggest slap in the face to the city of Cleveland. We do not care about the color of your skin in this city. If I’m not mistaking some of the greatest athletes to ever grace sports came from Cleveland, Jim Brown, Austin Carr, Brad Daughtery…. The big problem here is disrespecting a city that was loyal and gave nothing but love. Sports are based on winners and losers, not whites and blacks.
